The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle is my first sneaker from Chitose Abe and they’re like a work of art. Intricately designed, every time you look at them you’ll find a new detail that you probably didn’t know about before. For me the shoe fits true to size. I’m usually a size 10UK so I just purchased a 10UK and they fit perfectly – any more or less and they wouldn’t fit as well!

Are they comfortable?

I was a little sceptical at first especially with the strange lip around the heel, but they’re actually very comfortable. I don’t own the Flyknit pairs but I would assume that they would be more comfortable for the hotter months while the nylon ones should be reserved for the chillier seasons.

How do you style them?

I rock my sacais with oversized hoodies and cargo pants. I didn’t realise they were so significant in-hand so this fit works perfectly.

How do you clean them?

I usually don’t clean my creps because the scratches and marks give it a bit of character, but if I had to I would use a microfibre cloth and some warm, soapy water and go around in a circular motion. That works for me no matter the material.

The VaporWaffle is actually super comfortable. I was worried that they would be a little on the heavier side but I don’t know what Chitose Abe has done to make these so lightweight. I can literally rock mine every single day!

How do you style them?

The VaporWaffle is one of the most flexible shoes I own (and I own a lot of shoes!) I usually wear mine with a pair of denim jeans but you could literally rock them with anything – no word of a lie!

How do you clean them?

If you’ve got a Jason Markk set then you have nothing to worry about. next time you see a little scuff just go all in on the VaporWaffle and you’re good to go.

I recommend going true to size for the Nike x sacai VaporWaffle. I wouldn’t go even a half size down or up because they wouldn’t fit as well if you did!

Are they comfortable?

Whether I’m going for a shopping spree in the big city or doing some ollies at the skate park, the VaporWaffle is crazy comfortable. It’s surprising too considering these are some pretty significant boys.

How do you style them?

I style them with cargo pants. preferably a pair with a billion pockets on the front and back because that’s just how I roll.

How do you clean them?

I own the Flyknit joints so just use a soft sponge dipped into warm, soapy water for that. as for the midsoles, I use an old toothbrush dipped into water mixed with discolor removal liquid. Can’t beat it.
